DSM: Jiangyin Compounding Capacity to Increase 50%

DSM Engineering Plastics (Sittard / The Netherlands; www.dsm.com) is to expand the engineering plastics compounding capacity at its site in Jiangyin / China by 50%. The additional capacity will be available towards the end of 2008. DSM’s existing compounding capacity was doubled in 2006 with the opening of the greenfield site. The company is presently building a new plant at Jiangyin to produce high viscosity grades of its "Akulon" PA 6. /Plastics Information Europe/
