TechnoCompound: LGF Compounds Spur Growth

TechnoCompound (Bad Sobernheim / Germany; www.technocompound.com) has more than doubled its compounding capacity from 2005 levels and is planning further expansions. Managing director Hans-Dieter Voss says that two years since its spin-off from PolymerChemie (www.polymer-chemie.de), TechnoCompound is “on the right track.” The company now has 50,000 t/y of compounding capacity, including 15,000 t/y of long glass fibre (LGF) specialty products. It intends in future to focus on the improvement and expansion of its LGF compounds range, including the “TechnoFiber” line. /Plastics Information Europe/
