Country Manager

Our client is an international high-tech group with HQs in the USA, world leader in manufacturing of specialized chemical processes and solutions. They are now looking for a very experienced Country Manager for their distribution and operations center they plan to set up in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning, set-up and overall management of the operation. MISSION Your mission will be to start the Polish operation and bring it to a full operational capacity and then manage day to day operations developing business and providing necessary customers support. Some of the major tasks are: Meet monthly revenue goals for Poland. Determine forecast and act as player/coach to manage sales force in order to achieve these goals. Perform necessary product demonstrations as needed and assist sales and support staff in order to advance sales opportunity and close business. Hire, train, develop and manage the performance of the sales and support staff in conjunction with the other business units. Review and maintain high profile customer relationships as identified by the strategic objectives. Establish budgets and ensure compliance with expense guidelines. Other tasks as required REQUIREMENTS In order to manage this challenge you should be able to fulfill most of the following requirements: Engineering or Business Degree At least 10+ years of experience of managing of a business unit, experience in setting up a facility is a great advantage Good experience of selling complex technical solutions to industrial customers. Experience in selling to chemical, automotive and EMS industries is a great advantage. Strong overall business and financial skills. Outstanding team building, organization, coordination and people skills Polish native speaker, Fluent English CONDITIONS The conditions offered to the right candidate correspond with the importance of this role.
