Work Location: Rexam Plant Łódź, Poland Rexam Home & Personal Care Job Description Job Title: PLANT MANAGER Department: Global Manufacturing Reports to: Divisional Director, Global Manufacturing Functions:  Directs plant personnel, in the achievment of plant objectives the optimum cost with highest quality requirements.  Maintains full responsibility of the overall plant operations. Job Description:  Coordinates the Manufacturing schedule based on customer requirements and plant capacity.  Reviews plant orders for supplying Monthly Sales Forecast.  Ultimily responsible for Quality Management System standards.  Leads plant in Continuous Improvement operation.  Manages and controls cost of production.  Interacts with Sales/Quality departments on customer complaints.  Prepares annual capital budget, breakdown of plant equipment, and/or renovations of plant. Intiates capital appropriation requests.  Coordinates management review meetings.  Provides feedback on plant performance to all levels of plant and corporation.  Observes monthly safety meetings in compliance with company procedures. Responsible for Plant Safety Process.  Assists in disposition of non-conforming product with Quality Assurance Manager.  Approves and schedules training programs for employees.  Participates in employee disciplinary meetings with Human Resources. Authority:  Review and approve/disapprove recommendation of salary personnel, salary wage changes.  Initiate capital appropriation request.  Invoke policies of and or procedures to maintain operation and safety. Candidate Profile: • track record of five to ten years achievement at General Management level in high volume manufacturing operations • experience in multinational company • Profound knowledge on various plastic injection molding machines will be an advantage, • Knowledge of machines tools, including designs, uses, repair and maintenance • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and techniques for maximizing production • Knowledge in plastic material (especially PP) and molding techniques will be an advantage • in-depth knowledge and a track record of the implementation of modern manufacturing practices (Just-In-Time Manufacturing, Business Process Improvement) • high level of spoken and written English • university degree or Masters in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering or Business Abilities: • Charismatic, indipendent decision maker • Profound managerial and communication skills, high ability to delegate competencies. • Problem sensitivity and high creativity in finding effective solutions. • Support - must offer supportive management to differing areas • Dependability, reliability, responsibility We offer: • career development in an international, leading environment • attractive salary • intensive professional development
