Plant Manager - Russia

Our client is an international plastics manufacturer with several manufacturing facilities around the globe. Reporting directly to the group CEO you will be responsible for the development of the new plant. Furthermore you have to integrate and coordinate the manufacturing process with other production sites. You manage business effectiveness and growth together with the local management. Some of the duties will include: Cooperation with Greenfield team on building the plant; assembling and testing the technologies and utilities Translating owner’s expectations and interests into local management culture Coordinating contractors/subcontractors Greenfield project control (cost, quality, deadlines, safety) Implementation of effective controlling process Supervision of Greenfield project documents and relevant permits Setting up plant budget and full budgetary control for maintenance activities Planning and supervising regular testing of equipment, technologies and utilities Selection and contracting third party providers Other activities related to the operation field of the plant REQUIREMENTS Degree in Production / Manufacturing / Process Engineering Management or similar Start-up experience (Greenfield in Russia) will be highly advantageous Job competencies: manufacturing, purchasing, plant layout, supply chain knowledge At least five years of successful experience in manufacturing management and projects, with hands on experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing, Lead from the front management style with good intercultural communication and team building skills. Good analytic perception skills of complex situations and ability to present workable strategies and plans to mixed background audiences and players. Personable and flexible management style sensitive to the different cultural dynamics associated with a multinational company Proactive attitude to change & learning / able to lead change within the organization.
