Production Manager

Production Manager (ref. No. PM/07/AD) Job Purpose Responsible for the output, quality and people management for specific areas within the Manufacturing Operation. Responsibilities • Support the Production Manager in the organisation of the Production area on a daily basis to ensure that targets set for the area are achieved in a efficient. • Focus on achieving ‘Right First Time’ on quality to provide superior customer experience • Focus and Drive Productivity in the Department to ensure Area is operating to its Maximum Capacity. • Provide positive leadership so that the department is open to change • Plan and organise production and staffing levels to meet scheduled requirements. • Monitoring of progress and the provision of timely and accurate information and reports. • Establish and maintain high levels of employee morale. • Maintain constant open communications with all employees. • Maintain sound disciplinary procedures in line with company requirements. • Participate in project teams and pilot runs when required. • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with other groups within EMF. • Ability to communicate with people at all levels and have good people management skills. • Ability to work on own Initiative and as part of a team is essential. Education and Experience Required • Minimum 2 years experience in a team lead role within a operations role. • Relevant Diploma/Certificate desirable / advantageous. Intermediate proficiency of both spoken and written English.
