Sourcing Manager

Our client is a large international multimedia group with world wide operations and several manufacturing facilities. Due to the dynamic development they are now looking for a Sourcing Manager for their Polish division. MISSION Reporting to the International Sourcing Director you will be responsible for strategic management of purchase portfolio of some 40 million Euro including direct and indirect materials (Plastics, Metal, Chemicals, Packaging) . Major duties will include: Management of the Sourcing operations at all levels and leading cross functional team without direct staff responsibility Research, definition and delivery of sourcing initiatives and solutions Maintaining strong relationship with R & D, Engineering and Sales Maintaining strong relationship with suppliers in order to achieve high supplier performance and necessary improvements Providing necessary trainings to the members of the team and other staff Other tasks as required REQUIREMENTS Some of the requirements you may need for this job: University Degree in relevant area At least 5 years Manufacturing and Purchasing experience at senior level At least 2 years Purchasing experience in direct materials (Polyplastics, Metal) Management ability to lead Cross Functional Team Positive attitude and experience in change management Polish native speaker, fluent English, other languages are advantage CONDITIONS Very good career prospects in a large corporation.
