SABIC® PP 500P is a medium flow, multipurpose grade for extrusion and injection moulding applications.
Application:
If applied for extrusion this grade shows an excellent stretch ability and is therefore suitable for tapes and strapping, high tenacity yarns and carpet backing. For thermoforming it shows a unique balance between transparency, impact resistance and thickness uniformity. SABIC PP 500P is suitable for production of injection moulded articles e.g. caps and closures and house ware products, where this grade shows a high stiffness, combined with a fair impact resistance and very good surface hardness.

SABIC® PP 505P is a multi purpose grade for extrusion and injection moulding applications.
Application:
SABIC® PP 505P provides an excellent stretch ability and is suitable for extrusion of tapes, strapping, high tenacity yarns but also for thermoformed articles. For injection moulded parts SABIC® PP 505P shows a moderate stiffness, good impact resistance and very good surface hardness. SABIC PP 511A is a polypropylene homopolymer resin specifically designed for extrusion applications like spun bond and continuous filament spinning resulting in excellent non woven tensile properties.The narrow molecular weight distribution of SABIC PP 511A is obtained by balanced controlled rheology. SABIC PP 511A is compatible with all existing spun bond/continuous filament machine technologies producing different non woven compositions, produced with narrow distributed molecular weight polypropylene resins. SABIC PP 511A has a special developed anti gas fading formulation to minimise discolouration of the fibres.

SABIC® PP 526K is a grade developed for efficient thermoforming. The additive package is designed for optimum balanced production properties. SABIC® PP 526K is formulated with a combined processing, antistatic and nucleator package of the next generation, giving it the best performance possible. The nucleator technology provides higher stiffness and good transparency/gloss in the thermoformed part. The fact that the polymer/additive package gives higher isotropic processing behaviour reduces warpage, ovality and other dimensional problems,making this grade unique and ideally suited for productivity improvements.
Application:
SABIC® PP 526K is typically used for various thermoformed parts sensitive to dimensional stability. Customers use this grade as natural or coloured, ranging from food containers to disposables, yellow fats and lids.

SABIC® PP FPH50 is a grade developed for thin wall packaging as well as the caps & closures market. The grade is nucleated and is characterised by a high crystallisation temperature, excellent flow behaviour in combination with a high stiffness. SABIC® PP FPH50 allows for very cost efficient processing on the basis of easy mould filling, very short cycle times and robust processing behaviour in combination with pigments. It has a very good antistatic performance and shows easy demoulding.
Application:
SABIC® PP FPH50 is typically used in thin wall packing applications both for food and non-food segments. In caps and closure, the grade could be used for wide mouth caps, amongst others. In media packaging, the grade offers opportunities for cycle time optimisation. The grade has excellent heat deflection temperature making it particularly suitable for hot fill applications.
